The Only Constant is Change

hand sewn quilt
I have been working on this project for many months. It is entirely hand sewn!

I am back! Sorry for being gone so long.

I continued hand sewing the pieces together in the quilt above throughout the past several months. However, I have not been here.

When I first started my blog I had great ambition and great ideas about how it should be, how often I would do this and that and every other thing.

Well, sometimes we have a vision and other things happen in our lives that change how we can manage that image.

Many events occurred during the past few weeks that changed how I handled posts.  We faced different family health difficulties that I am not comfortable sharing on here. From personal and health challenges, there is a boomerang effect. Other changes occur. We need to adapt to the changes if we want to move forward. For now, all I can say is that I will try to post as often as I can. I cannot promise a time element. Perhaps the best thing to do is to post as frequently as I am able without a schedule.

A new normal will evolve. What that new normal is, I am not entirely sure. Internet access is limited occasionally.

Throughout the last few months,  I have been hand sewing. I have been putting together all of the little hexie petals and flowers that I have traded with friends all over the world. It is meditative; it is relaxing; it is therapeutic. I can take the flowers to work on anywhere in a container the size of a lunch box. Perhaps, now is the perfect time to continue with my Needlework For the Soul book that I started.
